Ballet Dancer/ Teacher/ Choreographer
Ballet is my language
I fell in love with ballet when I was at a young age. I wanted to start training in ballet immediately, but my city didn't have a ballet school. When I was 10 years old a ballet instructor started a school in a nearby city and I began my journey. It has lead me to where I am today and given me a lifetime of amazing artistic experiences and personal challenges overcome.
Ballet is for everyone
Have you ever wanted to explore ballet? Do you want to improve your balance, poise, fitness, or raise your level as a ballet student or refine your technique as a pre-professional or professional?
I’m here for you to help you in achieving your goals. I have been a student of ballet since a child and still am today. I grew up in ballet studios, have danced as an apprentice, years in the corps de ballet, been a soloist and principal in a variety of companies. I enjoy teaching others and training people of all ages and levels from the beginning novice, to the serious student, to the hobbyist interested in barre-fitness.
Creating Original Movement
My passion is creating movement with music. Music is a big part of my life. I like to think of ballet as music animated, using your body to make the sound of music visible and kinetic.
I love collaborating with other artists! I particularly enjoy choreographing and performing with musicians and performing with live music. I have a deep love and respect for traditional ballet and equally enjoy challenging its stereotypes in creative fusions of ballet and mixed-media art.
